The Left Hand of Fate is my personal Star Wars fanfiction site. It's designed for much more content than it has now, and it may or may not get it. Mostly, I've set up the site this way because there are so many distinct time periods in the Star Wars universe, and trying to lump it all together would make me absolutly nuts.

Version 2.0 - Skywalker's Legacy

This is the second version of Left Hand of Fate. I went a bit nuts on the previous version of the site; every section was a different color and had its own imagemap. The imagemaps were pretty, but they were huge, they took forever to code, and they drove me nuts.

So, Fate 2.0. Simpler, cleaner, and, I hope, less trouble for you guys to load and navigate. 2.0's 'mascot' image is of Jaina Solo, who is the inspiration for the subtitle, Skywalker's Legacy.

Organization

Old Republic - Stories from before the era of Episodes I, II, & III. My idea for the Old Republic section is not just stuff that happened before the Empire rose, but also stuff that happened a really long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

Palpatine Ascendant - The prequel era and the rise of the Emperor, with more than a dash of AU. Less emphesis on cuteness and gimicks- no Jar Jar here, unless he's being killed in some horrific fashion.

The Empire - When last heard from, the Emperor was on his way up. Now he is at the top, and it's not your Jedi Master's galaxy anymore. Much as I loved the heroes of the classic trilogy, I've always been an Imperial girl at heart. Let's face it- some of the Empire's characters are just much cooler.

The Rebellion - From more or less the same time period as the Empire section, only the Rebellion belongs to Not-The-Empire stuff. Bet you never would have guessed that, huh?

Beyond the Trilogy - Or, the New Republic and the Expanded Universe era, mostly taking place after Return of the Jedi.

New Jedi Order - The NJO is darker and grittier than most people like their Star Wars- it's darker and grittier than I like mine, sometimes. It took the EU to a different level entierly, and for better or worse it earned its own section.

Unknown Regions - There is AU, and then there's the Unknowns. Most of my Star Wars fic tends to be at least slightly AU, as "What if?" has always been one of my favorite starting points. But some of it is so far off canon, and involve so many original characters of somewhat obscure origins (roleplaying games and the like) that they really do belong in their own universe.
